Wing foiling, also known as wing surfing or wing foiling, is a water sport that combines elements of windsurfing, kitesurfing, and hydrofoiling. In this sport, riders use an inflatable wing or sail to propel themselves across the water while gliding on a special board equipped with a hydrofoil that allows them to rise above the water's surface.
Wing foiling is the easiest and safest sport to learn. Unlike windsurfing and kitesurfing, wing foiling is easier to learn and control, as it doesn't require complicated ropes or rigging. Additionally, its ability to soar above the water provides a sense of freedom and speed unmatched by other similar sports.
The first day we do a part on the beach and after a little flying with the sail, we go to the water. From the first moment we teach on the board with the foil.
We start on our knees and as we learn to sail we stand up, and little by little we get the balance point with the sail.
By the third or fourth class, we begin to take the foil out of the water a little.
It is advisable to bring a swimming costume, sun cream, water and sunglasses. If you have your own long wetsuit, you can also bring it.
We provide the rest: wing, board, wetsuit, waistcoat, harness and helmet.
In case you have equipment and you want to bring it to the class to practice with it, you must notify us beforehand what equipment you have, so we know if it is convenient to carry out the class with your equipment or ours.
You can rent a wing foil on your own after you have taken a beginner's course or have demonstrated an intermediate level of experience, where you are able to go upwind no matter what the conditions. It is recommended, especially for beginners, to take lessons with an instructor to learn the basics and safety techniques.
